Photographs of graves and memorials are listed here by county and geographical location, or, in the case of war graves, under Commonwealth War Graves and geographical location.

The county under which a location is listed is the current administrative county for that location, and not the county with which the location may have been historically linked. For example, Barnoldswick is listed under Lancashire, though historically it lay in the West Riding of Yorkshire.

Unfortunately some of the monumental inscriptions have not been formally recorded, and these are often not very legible on the photographs.

We hope to add details of monumental inscriptions in due course.
